OUR EDUCATOR

Jennifer Van Cleve, Director

Jennifer has been the Director of Glencoe Montessori since its opening in 2013. Before transitioning into this role, she taught for 22 years at Highland Park Montessori. Jennifer holds a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and especially appreciates the Montessori philosophy with its individualized style of learning. She loves working with the children, families and teachers at Glencoe Montessori, striving to create a community where everyone feels recognized for who they are and always feels special.

Jennifer grew up in Iowa and moved to Chicago after college. She currently resides in Highland Park where she raised her three children, all graduates of Highland Park Montessori. In her spare time, she loves traveling and spending time with her children, whether in Australia, Chicago, or St. Louis. When not with family, Jennifer can often be found at local flea markets, antiquing, or enjoying time with friends.
